Derek Drouin is the reigning world champion in the high jump and the Canadian record holder
at 2.40m. (that is 7 ‘ 8″ for comparison purposes).
Drouin has now proved himself to be a top-flight international competitor, having won Olympic bronze in London in 2012.
He is also the reigning Commonwealth and Pan Am Games champion.
The meet record for the men’s high jump is 2.28m set way back in 1988 by Brett Harkin of the USA. Will Drouin add this record to his already incredible resume?
